audition information

We're looking for more than great voices. We're looking for curious, committed musicians who are excited to grow, collaborate, and contribute to a high-level artistic community. During your audition, we'll get to know you through a combination of musical performance and musicianship activities.

You can expect to:

-Perform a prepared solo of your choice
-Participate in vocal exercises to assess range, tone, and vocal technique
-Complete short musicianship activities, including pitch matching, tonal memory, rhythm, and basic music literacy
-Demonstrate your ability to learn quickly and respond to musical feedback
-Participate in a brief movement exercise
-Have a short conversation about your musical interests, goals, and why you'd like to join MUSE

We're not looking for perfection. Some students may have stronger vocal skills, while others bring stronger musicianship or creative experience. We're looking for well-rounded young artists who are eager to learn, support one another, and make meaningful music together. Apply by August 16th!
